Virginie Francoeur – Doctor of Management

Professor, researcher and writer, Virginie Francoeur has a dual commitment to science and the arts. With a doctorate in management (Université Laval), a master’s degree in organizational development and a bachelor’s degree in management (HEC Montréal), her priority is to (re)place people and the environment at the heart of organizational change. Alongside her academic career, she has published seven books in Canada and internationally (essay, poetry, novel) and co-directed a documentary film. In 2023, she received the Women of Distinction Award from the Women’s Y Foundation of Montreal to celebrate the positive impact of her actions on society.

Eco-responsible behavior in the workplace: where do we stand?

This conference challenges you to find out how committed you are to eco-responsible behavior. All members of an organization can act ecologically in the workplace. However, their role and available resources may limit their scope for action. This will be an opportunity to learn more about the variety of eco-responsible behaviors, but also to discuss the levers and brakes that each individual may face. This topic will be of interest to all categories of employees, regardless of their hierarchy within the organization. With people expected to work close to 100,000 hours in the course of their lives, we need to mobilize our workplaces to accelerate the ecological transition. Together, let's take action!
